I am absolutely having a hard time trying to wrap my head around what I want to do for my thesis. On one hand, I couldn't be more excited by the prospect of being able to spend a year exploring, designing, creating anything that I want to. But on the other, the near-absolute freedom is really daunting. The possibilities are endless.

I guess from here on out, I'm going to try to use the Internet to gather my thoughts and document my process. Yes, voluntarily. For some people the Internet is a huge disturbance but I will try to use it for my advantage.

I've been working on this for the past 6 hours. I find it really really difficult. I guess I need to call or email my thesis writing adviser and seek help. I could really use a piece of chocolate cake right now.
